In 2022, the popular Acura RDX will receive numerous exciting improvements that you will love. These updates touch the RDX’s style, features, and abilities. What should you know about the revamped 2022 RDX?
From your first glimpse at the 2022 RDX at Acura of Jackson, you may be floored by its modernized look. While the exterior updates are subtle, they collectively make a significant impact. For 2022, this Acura model has a retouched grille with an upside-down pentagon shape. This is paired with a thin, aggressive bumper, tall side air vents, and beautiful headlights supported by an LED light ribbon. The smooth angle on the hood and the confident descent of the roofline create a sporty feel. This is combined with a bold accent that flows through the lower door panels.
Once you get behind the wheel of the 2022 Acura RDX, you can appreciate more improvements. Wireless smartphone connectivity and a wireless charging pad are new this year. The cabin has also been engineered with more insulation to produce a quieter driving experience. Equipment that carries up from the 2021 model year includes a head-up display, heated front, and rear seats, a 16-speaker audio system, a surround-view camera, ambient lighting, front and rear parking sensors, leather material, a navigation system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, a dual-zone climate control system and other equipment.
The RDX’s powertrain is unchanged, but it is now accompanied by an adaptive suspension system and revamped drive modes. The RDX receives 272 horsepower from its four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter gas engine, which is associated with a 10-speed auto transmission. The base and Technology trims have front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is standard with the RDX Advance and the RDX PMC Edition.
