What’s New for the 2023 Acura MDX?
The Acura MDX has long been the head of the pack in the midsize luxury SUV market, and it could be the model you have been searching for. The MDX is differentiated by its third row of seating, aggressive performance capabilities, and refined cabin features. Because so many aspects of the MDX were updated with the last model year when the vehicle’s fourth generation debuted, Acura has held this model steady from front to rear for 2023.
The exterior has a prestigious air with athletic influences. Its crisp, pentagon-shaped grille round up toward the blade-like LED headlights. The bumper is defined by a slender central portal with premium side vents. Both the hood and roof are mildly tapered, and the sides have been moderately defined for added character. Exterior features include up to 21-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate, roof rails, power-folding mirrors, and a panoramic sunroof in select or all trims.
Under the hood, the first several trim levels benefit from a V6, 3.5-liter engine that provides 290 horsepower. It is paired with an automatic 10-speed transmission. Higher trim levels receive 355 horsepower from a turbo 3.0-liter V6 system. Select trims have an adaptive air suspension system, a sport-tuned transmission, all-wheel drive, Brembo front brakes, and a few other premium qualities.
With so many fabulous interior features offered throughout the 2023 MDX’s trim lineup, you will be thrilled with the driving experience that your next SUV delivers. The base-level equipment includes simulated leather upholstery, reclining and sliding seats in the second row, USB ports in the first two rows, a wireless charging pad, a nine-speaker sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch central display screen with a touch control pad and a digital driver’s panel. All trims also come with AcuraWatch safety tech. These items include lane-keeping assist, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and more. Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors, memory settings for the front row, leather material, a navigation system, a more advanced sound system, and various other exciting features.
