Performance

The premium Acura TLX has the same powertrain and related equipment in the 2019 and 2020 versions. The 206-horsepower, 2.4-liter, I-4 engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A higher-level V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower is also available for both model years, and it is paired with a nine-speed auto transmission. Additional mechanical equipment in both model years includes paddle shifters, a sport-tuned suspension system, all-wheel drive, Dynamic Sport+, and more.

Appearance

The exterior façade and equipment for the 2019 and 2020 versions of the TLX are also unchanged. They both have a shimmering, elite quality thanks to features like a diamond-style, pentagon-shaped grille and JewelEye LED headlights. The fog lamps are mounted in athletic ports on the lower front fascia, and all of these features collectively draw attention to the trio of accent bars that run across the swooping hood. Additional exterior features are dual exhaust tips, puddle lights, powered and heated side mirrors, remote entry, a spoiler, a sunroof, and several other items.

Features

Between the TLX’s specs and style, you may hold high expectations for its interior and safety features. With the same features at the trim levels for 2019 and 2020, the TLX will not disappoint you. Available materials for various trims include leatherette, Alcantara leather, and Milano leather. Heat for the front and rear seats, a GPS-linked climate management system, smart entry, a push-button starter, Bluetooth tech, a navigation system, voice recognition, smart device connections, and an ELS Studio audio system are included in the 2019 and 2020 TLX trims. The safety aids in the AcuraWatch™ suite are adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, blind-spot detection, and more.
