Performance
With a test drive of the ILX and the TLX at Acura of Jackson, you can appreciate the impact that their different powertrains deliver behind the wheel. The ILX comes with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 201 horsepower. It is tied to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and is only available with a front-wheel drive drivetrain. The TLX’s engine, on the other hand, is a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission has a sport shifting function with paddle shifters. The TLX registers with 272 horsepower. It has front-wheel drive as standard equipment and super-handling all-wheel drive as a possibility.
Appearance
The 2021 ILX and the 2021 TLX share the same beautiful headlights with an edgy shape, and an LED ribbon running along the bottom portion. They also have a pentagon-shaped grille that sits over a thin air vent. The ILX’s grille has a sharper, more massive presence. Large air vents accompany it on the sides of the front end. The TLX’s grille is stretched, and it sits on a flatter nose. Compared to the ILX, the TLX has larger air vents on the front end.
Features
Inside their cabins, the ILX and the TLX for 2021 share some modern design elements. They also have high-end leather seats, and they are available with a premium or ELS Studio premium sound system.
