2021 Acura TLX with Technology Package vs 2021 Acura TLX with A-Spec® Package
Serving Ridgeland, MS
The Acura TLX has fresh styling for 2021 with the debut of its second generation. The model is offered in five trim levels. These are the base trim level, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and Type S. Deciding which trim level to call your own can be challenging, but it is easier to do when you understand their essential differences. In contrast, the base trim level is well-appointed. The Technology and A-Spec trim levels add many higher-level features that you may want your car to have. What can you expect from the Technology and A-Spec trim levels?
Performance
Both of these trim levels come with the same engine. This is a 272-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine. It is paired with a 10-speed auto transmission and a front-wheel drive drivetrain. For both trims, you can upgrade your sedan with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. You can conveniently test drive both trim levels when you stop by Acura of Jackson soon.
Appearance
The Technology trim level builds off the base trim level, but the exterior differences between the two trim levels are modest. Specifically, the Technology trim level adds 19-inch wheels. The A-Spec trim level has a sportier look with fine-tuned features throughout the exterior. It is also available with several exterior color options not offered in the TLX’s lower trim levels.
Features
The differences between these TLX trim levels continue with their included features. The Technology adds front and rear parking sensors, customizable ambient lighting, a blind-spot monitor, a 13-speaker sound system, leather upholstery, a rear cross-traffic alert system, and leather upholstery for differentiation between it and the base TLX trim level. The A-Spec has a few unique features as well. For example, it adds a wireless device charging pad, ventilated front seats with micro-suede inserts, an ELS sound system with 17 speakers, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and brushed aluminum trim throughout the cabin.
