The new 2021 Acura and RDX and the 2020 Acura RDX are both classified as compact luxury SUVs. Performance

The 2020 Acura RDX is equipped with a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 272 horsepower coupled with either an all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive equipped with an automatic transmission. In contrast, the 2021 Acura RDX has an engine with similar performances to the previous model. It is powered by a 16 valve 2 liter turbocharged DOHC engine with i- VTEC valve train and direct injection producing 272 horsepower and 280-pound feet of torque. Drivers will enjoy a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

The 2021 Acura RDX has a redesigned exterior that gives the car an aggressive look compared to the 2020 Acura RDX model. The 2021 RDX has a pentagon styled grille and a C shaped taillights; it has a modular look that is very pleasing and soothing to the eye. The 2021 RDX is Acura’s smallest SUV, even though it has an increased dimension to justify being tagged as a compact SUV. The new model has more sharp lines than the previous model giving it a more youthful and sporty look. It comes standard with 20-inch wheels though they are an optional 21 in wheels. The design updates bring an air of freshness to the previous model.

The 2021 Acura RDX and the 2020 Acura RDX are equipped with a wide range of entertainment and safety features tailored to driver comfort. The 2021 RDX has minor alterations compared to the previous model but with new material and color options.
