The 2022 MDX is equipped with a V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower. It is paired with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, a double-wishbone front suspension system, and the Integrated Dynamics System. The 2022 MDX Type S steps this up with a turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that generates 355 horsepower. It is linked to Super-Handling All-wheel Drive, front Brembo brakes, a double-wishbone front suspension system, and other well-engineered equipment.
Appearance
For 2022, the Acura MDX has been redesigned from end to end. It has a sleek look with tapered side windows and an aerodynamic profile. From the side view, you will find deep accentuation through the door panels. A starburst pattern in the pentagon-style grille is complemented by an edgy LED ribbon in the headlights. The 2022 Acura MDX Type S has some comparable elements. However, it has an all-black grille and a re-shaped, aggressive front fascia. You will also find unique wheel designs and special badging on the MDX Type S.
