Serving Ridgeland, MS
SUV shoppers in Jackson who expect superior luxury from their next vehicles often compare the Acura and Lexus brands. These brands offer three-row vehicles that may meet your need for extra passenger seating. These include the Lexus GX 460 and the Acura MDX. However, the three-row cabins are one of the few things these models have in common. What will you learn when you fully check out these 2023 models?
Performance
Acura has engineered the 2023 MDX to impress you across all trims. The lower trims pair a 10-speed auto transmission with a 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter, V6 engine. You can choose between a front-wheel or all-wheel drive layout for these trims. If you prefer the Type S or Type S Advance, a turbocharged 3.0-liter, V6, 355-horsepower engine will power your MDX. These trims pair with the same auto transmission and have standard all-wheel drive. Brembo brakes and a sport suspension are standard in the higher trims. The GX460 is equipped with a V8, 4.6-liter, 301-horsepower engine through its three trim levels. The engine combines four-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission. An off-road suspension is offered in some trims.
Appearance
The Acura MDX gets ample attention on the road with its sharp, modern style. This is defined by Acura’s signature nose crease and pentagon-shaped grille. At the front end, the MDX also has horizontal foglights, jewel-like LED headlights, and deep air intakes. The look of the 2023 MDX is completed with a bold, chrome definition line angling across the side panels. On the other hand, the 2023 Lexus GX 460 has a boxy look with an hourglass grille rising from the top to the bottom of the tall nose. The shape of the grille is highlighted by the LED headlights that point inward sharply. On the sides, the rear fenders are strongly molded.

You will continue to be impressed by the 2023 Acura MDX when you explore its many features.
