2023 Acura MDX vs 2022 Acura MDX
Serving Ridgeland, MS
As you explore the options for a three-row SUV that meets your demands for luxury and performance capabilities, your attention will naturally land on the Acura MDX. In 2022, the MDX broke into its fourth generation by introducing prestigious updates from bumper to bumper. With so many updates made to the 2022 MDX, it is not surprising to learn that Acura has not made any changes to the 2023 model year. What will catch your attention about the MDX when you explore it in detail at Acura of Jackson soon?
Performance
For 2022 and 2023, the beautiful MDX’s first several trim levels receive 290 horsepower from a 3.5-liter V6 engine. This is a front-wheel drive system with optional all-wheel drive, and it comes with a 10-speed auto transmission. The MDX’s top trims receive 355 horsepower from their V6, turbo 3.0-liter engines for both years. If you opt for a trim with this powertrain, your MDX will also have a sport-tuned transmission, a sport-tuned adaptive air suspension, Brembo brakes, and standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
Most aspects of the 2022 MDX’s exterior style were remodeled, and the 2023 MDX continues to carry these beautiful changes. The nose is particularly striking with its inverted, pentagon-shaped grill and sporty bumper design. The hood is prominently defined by three tapered accent bars. The sharp headlights are brilliantly defined by a ribbon of LED lighting that runs through them. The sides have an exquisite, impactful definition that regally expresses the MDX’s combination of luxury and power. These elements include fender-to-fender, an upper-body, prominent and crisp sculpture. Below the deeply sculpted side doors, angled accentuation adds to the MDX’s looks.
Features
There are no new interior features in the 2023 MDX across the trim levels. Select or all of the MDX’s trims for both years include gear like a 25-speaker ELS sound system, household-style power outlets in the second row, USB ports across all rows, a head-up display, a surround-view camera, heated seats in the first two rows, leather material, a hands-free liftgate, an intercom system, a navigation system, memory settings for both of the front seats, front and rear parking sensors, second-row sunshades, interior ambient lighting, and other items.
