In 2021, the Acura TLX and the Acura RDX have received the highest honor offered by the IIHS. Specifically, they each have been recognized as being a Top Safety Pick+.

To be recognized in this way, vehicles must meet the IIHS’s high standards for crash-worthiness with a “Good” rating or better and must have a “Superior” rating in other vital areas.
